Directions to Cruglas Farm Cottages
The tiny village of Swyddffynnon is located between Aberystwyth and Tregaron in North Ceredigion, mid-Wales. It lies 3 miles to the west of Pontrhydfendigaid and is shown on most motoring maps. In Ystrad Meurig, which is on the B4340 between Pontrhydfendigaid and Aberystwyth, turn off south opposite the church and community hall on a sign-posted road to Swyddffynnon, which is about 1500m away. When you arrive in Swyddffynnon, you will find a small crossroads, with a war memorial on your left, if you have come via the route described above.
Cruglas
From the Swyddffynnon war memorial take the narrow ‘no through road’ which runs south , after 50m cross a small stone bridge over the stream and bear right until, after 150m you meet a private road. From here follow the signs to Cruglas, which is about 800m away along a tarmaced track. The postcode is SY25 6AN.
Swydd
From Swyddffynnon, follow as for Cruglas, but, on reaching the private road, turn right and then take the first left after 30m. The house is in a farmyard 100m along a dirt track. The postcode is also SY25 6AN.
Bryn Isaf
Take the main road descending west through Swyddffynnon, cross over a small stone bridge and proceed past two houses and a farm on your right. After about 800m and a sharp climb, turn left on a lightly tarmaced single track road beside a large new gabled house and farm buildings. Follow this small road round to the left and down a hill, passing a small stone cottage on the right and turn into the Bryn Isaf driveway on your left just as the road makes a sharp right angle bend, about 1000m from the main road.
